Xidian faculty and students actively engage in international academic organizations. There are about 100 IEEE members, among whom 2 are fellows and several are senior members. Xidian are enthusiastic participants of the IEEE communications Society,Xi’an Network, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, Xi’an Network, and IEEE Man and Cybernetics Society, Xi’an Network and many other academic organizations. There is also one IEEE student branch in Xidian. Besides, many Xidian faculty members are editors of academic journals.
